Requirement: Regulations are part of the legislation banning smoking in most public places in England.
Signage Requirement: The law requires the signs to be a minimum of A5 in size (148 x 210mm) and contain a no smoking symbol that is a minimum of 75mm in diameter. The wording must be 'No Smoking. It is against the law to smoke in these premises.' The words 'these premises' can be subtituted for a specific description eg. ' No smoking. It is against the law to smoke in this restaurant.'

The following signs must be displayed at each public entrance in a conspicuous position for staff and visitors entering the building.

In addition to being government compliant, our 'No Smoking Signs' also follow the recent recommendation for the signs to have black text on a white background, since this greatly enhances readibility as opposed to the original white text on a red background.
